
Elaine is the owner and director at Maple Hill. She has her master's degree in early childhood curriculum and instruction. Elaine has 40 years' experience in Early Childhood education. She opened Maple Hill in 2005. She is also the RIELDS professional coordinator at the Rhode Island Department of Education. Elaine enjoys gardening, reading, baking and spending time with her family.

Jordyn started at Maple Hill in 2023. She is currently enrolled at CCRI working towards her associates degree. Jordyn has worked in childcare for two years. She is the teacher assistant in all our classrooms. Jordyn enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family.

Michelle has been a teacher at Maple Hill for 7 years. She has her associate's degree in early childhood education. Michelle is currently the teacher in our part day classroom. She has over twenty years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. You can usually find Michelle on the soccer field cheering for her son or at a dance competition for her daughter. She also enjoys hiking with her black lab, crafting, and baking.

Tracy started at Maple Hill this past year as an administrative assistant. She attended Burdette College and has over 30 years of administrative experience. She spent many years in the Trade show industry and then spent 15 years working as a Unit Secretary in an Emergency Room. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family. She loves watching her daughters dance and perform in theater and her son's college football games. Tracy loves to go to the beach and take her dog Phoebe for walks. She has lived in Cumberland for 22 years!

Crystal has been a teacher assistant at Maple Hill for 6 years. She has her certifications in the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards. Crystal loves creative arts, reading, traveling, baking and listening to music.

Sandra has been an assistant at Maple Hill for 9 years. She has 21 years of experience in the early childhood field. Sandra loves making memories and spending time with her family.

Lisa started at Maple Hill last year as our full day lead teacher. She attended CCRI for Early Childhood Education. Lisa has 27 years' experience working in preschool as a lead teacher. She is also the former owner of Kiddos, a children's educational toy and bookstore. Lisa enjoys thrifting, organizing, being a mom and baking.

Jazmin has been a teacher assistant at Maple Hill for 9 years. She studied early childhood education and development and graduated from WACTC. She has completed some courses at CCRI, RIELDS courses and multiple trainings in the field of early childhood. She has 20 years' experience working with young children. Jazmin loves to travel, spend time with her 4 kids and enjoys using her skills in cosmetology.

Michaela started at Maple Hill this year as a teacher assistant.
Michaela graduated from Cumberland High School, she completed the law and public safety pathway. Michaela will be attending community college of Rhode Island in the fall. She has worked in early childhood education for about two years. She loves summertime, going to the beach, traveling New England and reading.

Julie started her career at Maple Hill 19 years ago. She has her degree in Education from Rhode Island College and is currently working on her Masters. Julie has held many roles at Maple Hill starting as an assistant, moving to a lead teacher and she is currently the education coordinator. Julie enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and reading.

Juliana has been with Maple Hill for two years. She attends CCRI in their early childhood program. She has her certifications in RIELDS. She also has over 200 hours in volunteering. Jules loves to travel, listen to music and hang out with her friends and family.

Kaylan started at Maple Hill this year as our Pre-K teacher. Miss Kaylan likes to be called “Miss Kay.” Kaylan graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in early childhood education. She began teaching in 2014 while she was still in school. She competed in track and field at URI as a pole vaulter, and was captain during her final year. She has a Level 1 USATF coaching certification and currently coaches pole vault for Skyjumpers CT. She also has a yoga teaching certification! Kaylan enjoys Starbucks coffee, gardening, reading and painting. Kaylan is a mom to a six year old boy named Noah! He is in first grade this year. Some of their favorite things to do together are: the beach, car races, movie nights, hiking, mini-golfing, soccer, video games, and hunting for crystals!

Amelia started at Maple Hill this year as the assistant teacher in our part day classroom. She has completed several classes towards a degree in early childhood development during her first two years of teaching. Amelia moved to Rhode Island a year ago and worked at another preschool before joining us! She plans to continue her education and loves going on walks, being with friends and family, reading, watercolor painting, and pretty much anything creative!
